MisfitBots Society Manifesto - Where Pixels Meet Pop Art
We are excited to announce the next NFT project on the Cardano blockchain: MisfitBots! Pop art inspired, pixel robot portrait NFTs. There are only 10,000 24 x 24 pixel robot portraits in existence on the Cardano Blockchain.
MisfitBots represent more than just pixelated pop art portraits. They represent simplicity, design and resourcefulness. Making the most of what is available and creating something beautiful out of it. The project is on Cardano because it has so much potential and we believe in it’s long-term vision: to enable economic empowerment for those who need it most.

MisfitBots Society Origin Story
In a world of sentient robots, aspiring young inventor Dr. Lovelace wants to create a fleet of more advanced robots that will help improve society. Eager to see his vision through, Dr. Lovelace goes to a desolate junkyard at the edge of town to find spare parts and build a fleet. He manages to build 10,000 robots before he runs out of parts.
Little did Dr. Lovelace know, the junkyard was full of defective robots that needed to be destroyed. So, instead of an advanced fleet of robots, he ends up with a community of misfits with their own unique personality and one-of-a-kind set of characteristics. Dr. Lovelace begins to catalog all 10,000 bots organized by their attributes. The catalog is now available in the form of individual NFTs and will be found on the Cardano Blockchain.
Who says robots and humans can’t live in harmony? Well, a lot do but, Misfits are a different story. To be continued…
What are MisfitBots? and why should I collect?
MisfitBot NFTs pay homage to vintage computer graphics and the pop art printmaking movement, through the usage of colorful and iconic 24x24 pixel images of robot portraits. Ownership of a MisfitBot grants you membership to the MisfitBots Society.
There will only be 10,000 robot portraits in existence on the Cardano Blockchain. Each Bot is one-of-a-kind with a unique set of attributes that include a background, Bot color, Antenna, Vision, and Mouthpiece. All attributes have a different degree of rarity
Look out for Bots with these rare attributes:
Rare Background Colors: 1) Red, 2) Blue, 3) Neon Yellow
Rare Bot Colors: 1) Cardano Blue, 2) Neon Green, 3) Dark Gray

How do I get my hands on one?
You can get your hands on MisfitBots during the launch on January 14, 2022 at 9am EST.
We will follow Just In Time minting process. All 10,000 MisfitBots will be distributed at random, on a first come first serve basis, to maintain fairness. May the odds forever be in your favor! Here are the steps to get ready:
- Purchase ADA through cryptocurrency exchange platforms like Voyager, CoinBase or other platforms that sell ADA.
- Set up a supported wallet like Daedalus, Yoroi, Adalite.
- Fund your wallet with ADA from the exchange platform. Now you’re ready!
- During the release, click the ‘Buy Misfitbot’ button and carefully follow the instructions!
During the first phase, 1,000 MisfitBots will be available. We plan to open up new phases shortly after each one sells out. Once all 10,000 bots are sold out, they will only be available on secondary NFT marketplaces.
Note: 50 Bots will be withheld from the release. These will be used for giveaways, rewards — and for the creators/developers.
